Demand response based microgrid's economic dispatch

The development of energy management tools for next-generation Distributed Energy Resources (DER) based power plants, such as photovoltaic, storage units, and wind, helps systems be more flexible. Microgrids are entities that coordinate DERs in a persistently decentralized fashion, hence decreasing the operational burden on main grid permitting them to give their full benefits. A new framework has emerged due integration DERs-based microgrids into conventional system. With rapid advancement microgrid technology, emphasis been placed maintaining microgrids' long-term economic feasibility while ensuring security stability. objective this research is provide multi-objective operation technique containing air-conditioning clusters (ACC) taking demand response account. dynamic price mechanism proposed, accurately reflecting system's actual status. For dispatch, flexible loads air conditioners considered resources. Then, consumer-profit model an AC operating cost developed, with set pragmatic constraints consumer comfort. generation then designed reduce cost. Finally, simulation platform developed MATLAB/Simulink, case evaluate proposed method's performance. findings show profit increases by 69.2% ACC costs decrease 18.2%. Moreover, reduced without sacrificing customer satisfaction.
